Brad Magness makes his home near Nashville, Indiana a small tourist town located approximately fifty miles southeast of Indianapolis and known for its rustic early nineteenth century feel in a mountainous setting where spring and fall boast of picture postcard scenery with mountaineer arts and crafts.
Nashville, Indiana is also home to the world renown "Little Nashville Opry". With a country format, the Opry plays host to most all top names in country music from early April into late November. Brad performs on The Opry at every opportunity by playing guitar and performing solo. Whether singing, picking or opening for the main attractions, you'll find yourself thoroughly entertained with his infectious love for music.
The influence of country music runs deep in Brad's musical family. He possesses an enormous collection of country music paraphernalia featuring first issue albums to the kitchen table and chairs of the legendary great Hank William! This one-of-a-kind collection has been visited by many country entertainers. The "Hanks Room" as fondly referred to by Brad, displays not only a magnificent collection, but personifies the historical knowledge of his musical heart and way of life.
Recognized for his musical techniques and personal charismatic relationship with an audience, Brad has earned respect as warm-up as well as a featured artist with such well known entertainers as George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Ricky Skaggs, Tim McGraw, Ray Price, Hank Williams Jr. to name a few. From the Montgomery Civic Center in Montgomery, Alabama to the stage of Little Nashville Opry in Nashville, Indiana performing as lead singer and guitarist with his local band, Brad Magness will never lose sight of his objective to enjoy what he loves without boundaries ”to entertain his listener”
